Our RLS recipients come from varied backgrounds - but all have in common the need for assistance. Jesus tells us many places in Scripture to care for the poor, the widow, the orphan - basically, anyone in need. He
also said when we help others, it is the same
as if it were Him that we helped.
It is our ministry to help those in need
- in a variety of ways - and we invite
you to PARTNER WITH US!
opened on September 17, 2012 as a ministry to abused, abandoned, and orphaned children in Vaideiu, a remote village in central Romania. The school currently resides in a church that started in 1999. The great need for schools in Romania stems from the country’s loss of 3,000+ schools, leaving vulnerable children at greater risk for human trafficking, organ harvesting, molestation and other heinous crimes. The challenges are great for Soli Deo Gloria School. Please visit their website to learn more about how you can help this very important ministry.

"Thank you so much for your ministry; both via your book and nonprofit organization. My family has been blessed by your heart toward families, especially those with children whose parents have been affected by the addiction of family members." That's how Nzingha's letter began. After explaining the circumstances leading up to taking in, then putting out her own mother (who relapsed in severe alcohol abuse after a 5 month hospitalization), and being displaced from her home when she was unable to maintain ...

A twenty-year-old young man struggled to survive on the streets for
about 3 years. He was homeless for a time. He started working at a
flower shop, but dreamed of becoming a chef so he could earn more money to send to his grandmother, who supports his younger siblings after their mother's death.
Relevant Life Solutions is sending him to culinary school so he can achieve his dream and support his family.
First, her job. Then her car. Then the child support checks stop coming. Finally, the owner of her apartment decides to sell, so she is forced to think about moving. Without funds to relocate, repair the vehicle or pay the cell phone bill, her life is extremely challenging. “She” is a real person. I choose not to name her, because she represents so many other REAL moms who find themselves caught in the domino effect of similar situations.
Where do people go when every avenue appears to dead end?
Relevant Life Solutions is committed to lending a hand when folks find themselves in crisis. That “hand” takes many forms. Sometimes it’s prayer support. Sometimes it’s connecting someone with another person or resource. Sometimes it’s being physically or financially present. RLS was able to send funds to keep the roof over this mama and her children. We are praying with her for work and thanking God for providing an honest friend to repair the brakes on her car. Once more, this woman has hope. Hope helps humanity get out of bed in the mornings. Hope keeps one foot stepping out in faith. Hope is powerful! Thank you for donating hope.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

Amy, whose story is not that different from mine. Except I didn’t have kids in tow as I
left a chemically dependent spouse to start a new life in a new place. Pride almost prevented her from stopping at our church food pantry that Wednesday afternoon. But her family was hungry and the fridge bare.

A sweet single mom befriended us and translated many important conversations. We got to know her and her toddler and became aware of their needs. Before we left Ukraine, the little girl's Canadian father took the child against her will and refused to allow any communication between mother and baby.

Against her mother and grandmother's wishes, a teen girl decided to keep her baby rather than abort him. Baby boy was ill for
most of the winter and spent much time in the hospital. The girl's mother and grandmother barely have enough food for themselves. The nursing teen sometimes went without food.
Michelle has been a single mom for 7 years. After realizing she was on her own with her 3 children (then ages 6, 3, and 2), she kicked into high gear and put herself through school by taking night and online classes while working 3 jobs to provide for her family.
“I did not grow up in a culture where women went to school. We got married and depended on our husbands to put food on the table. I didn’t know where to start, but I knew I needed to do something,” she recalls. “ I worked as a classroom assistant and private tutor during the school year and as a camp director during the summers. At the beginning, I walked everywhere or depended on others for transportation. Once I got a car, I also began delivering pizzas.
"Life’s challenges continued when my middle daughter was diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia (a myropelifitive disorder affecting her platelets). She is now stable in her platelet count; needing the specialist only twice a year. Later, my son briefly battled and conquered depression. My little family has had its share of highs and lows, but we have overcome together.”
This school year Michelle finally reached her dream of becoming a certified teacher! Her hard work paid off.
Just when she thought she could breathe and perhaps begin to save some cash towards a home, Michelle’s car died. It could not be resurrected. Thanks to Relevant Life Solutions, Michelle has a new (used) Jeep that will be a reliable set of wheels for her active family. “Thank you so much,” she whispered with tears in her eyes as she hugged me. “Who does this?”
We do. YOU do. Thank you so much RLS family! Together we help families have hope!
RLS serves others in several capacities. If God has laid on your heart to utilize the gift(s) He has given you, we prayerfully ask you to consider partnering with us in our efforts to build His kingdom in tangible ways.
