An Enemy Attacks a Nations Treasures
The White House, the Pentagon and the World Trade Center--three
national treasures singled out to be destroyed by demon driven adversaries
on a mission of suicide and sabotage. With synchronized precision, four
airplanes are boarded by hypnotized extremists who carry out their murderous
mutiny shortly after departure. All but one plane, through the heroism
of the passengers, strike a devastating blow that will leave America changed
forever. Never the same again.
What a reaction. The United States, together with the Free World rally together to prevent an attack like this from happening again. Every airport in America carries the effects of September 11 with the new, strict, anti-terror security. Laws have been passed that allow the government to scrutinize all communications. Immigration legislation adjusted to expose any potential infiltrators. All financial institutions and all financial transactions have been placed under careful observation. Never the same again. Forever changed.
You see, three of our most precious treasures were attacked by evil infidels who came onto our land, and brought desolation. As we page back in history, we find a very effective strategy of an infiltrating enemy--they always attack and defile the most precious treasures in the heart of a nation. Daniel chapter one and the first two verses show how this was done in the past:
Daniel 1:1, 2This was the ultimate desecration and the ultimate defilement for Israel. A pagan king, an unbeliever and an infidel comes onto their homeland, enters the holy of holies, tears down the curtain, smashes down the candlesticks, and takes the holy temple treasures, throws them into his rough hessian sack, and carries them off to his pagan temple. Not only does the attacking king go to all the effort to burn and destroy the city and capture it's people, but amid all the fighting and skirmishes among the two armies, he makes the effort to find his way into the inner temple chambers and take hold of the nations most sacred treasures.
In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Judah and besieged it. And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia and put in the treasure-house of his god.
Our nation is repulsed by the violation that these evil infidels would come onto our homeland, shave themselves to look like us, dress in our clothes, drive in our rental cars, eat in our restaurants, stay in our motels, and fly our airplanes into the very treasures and symbols of who we are, what our constitution stands for, and what our nation has been blessed with since it's origin. Defiled! Violated! Invaded! The way you feel when a thief breaks into your home while you are sleeping and goes through your personal belongings and helps himself to whatever he wants. You feel dirty, you feel intruded upon, you feel unclean.

The whole nation together with the free world is so repulsed by the diabolical acts of September 11, 2001--not only at the defilement and destruction of the national treasures, but the death of so many innocent victims where families were robbed of their bread winners. Individuals around the world support the actions of the Bush Administration and praise the leadership of Rudy Giuliani in the aftermath of this attack that has changed America forever. Forces from around the world are rallied together to zero in on the breading pit of this resentment and revenge. So the multi-nation task-force enters Afghanistan to route out these poisonous vipers that have spread their nests throughout the world in order to attack and destroy in the name of Allah. "No more! No more!" the nations cry out. "We will smoke them out wherever they are!"
Six Billion Temple Treasures Under Attack
My dear friend, as the whole world focuses their attention
on this nest of terror that targets our sacred treasures, they forget that
each person is a temple that is under attack. God has endowed each person
on this planet with a brilliant mind that is their own temple--a temple
that has the ability to reason, to communicate, to decide, and to relate
to a spiritual power--a temple where He wants to come and live. The question
is, do individuals around the world realize that there is an even more
insidious, subtle and unseen attack on each of them? The same mastermind
behind the demonic attacks of terror on innocent people is attacking the
sacred treasures in each individual temple. The two passages below tell
us that each one of us is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Here is an interesting
parallel between the Jerusalem temple and the temple that makes up who
you are and that makes up who I am:
1 Corinthians 6:19, 20Just as three of our national treasure have been under attack, so the Father of all dread, all desolation and all death continues his full assault on three holy treasures in each human temple on this planet. My friend, you are a temple under attack. I am a temple under attack. This attack is more vicious than any visible attack because the attacker hides his activities and allows people to think they're suffering the normal effects of life on earth. "O'Satan bin Lucifer," the archenemy of God is also the archenemy of each created being, and wants to defile and desecrate the three holy treasures that God has given to man for his benefit and enjoyment. A quick tour of the planet will reveal that this attack has torn out of heart of humanity. The suffering, the sickness and the shortages among peoples of the world is a clear indication of this. These attacks are strategically aimed the three holy treasures that God has lavished on His children--treasures that are symbols of God's selfless and unconditional love.
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.2 Corinthians 6:16
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
(A quick tour of our planet will show the suffering, the sickness and the shortages that "O'Satan bin Lucifer has wrought through his attacks on the three holy treasures)
These three treasures lie not only at the heart of man's existence, but they emulate the very nature of God--hence they attract the jealous anger of the evil rival of the Godhead. You see, the Archangel Lucifer wanted to be part of the Godhead. As matter of fact, he wanted to lord himself above the Godhead. When the Godhead performed the wonders of creation, instead of worshiping and adoring the work of the Humble and Selfless God, he was venomously embittered and instigated a full-fledged rebellion. After he was banished to this earth, he has vented his anger on everything that had God's fingerprints on it, especially the three holy treasures that was at the heart of human life and that epitomized the nature and character of God.
The text I have chosen for this article is found in Romans
1:18-32. You will be amazed that all three of the treasures in each of
the six billion temples on our planet in mentioned in these verses:
Attack on The First Treasure--God's Creation
Romans 1:18-22The first holy treasure under fierce attack is on God as the Creator and on His creation. In each of the six billion temples across this planet there is this precious holy treasure that will bring incredible hope and inspiration to that temple. From ancient times the evil infidel, Satan, has ventured onto the homeland of each temple and has blinded man from seeing the handiwork of God in the marvelous objects on the earth, in the sea and in the sky. Satan himself wanted to create. He wanted to be God and above God. When he couldn't achieve this selfish ambition, he turned on God's creation with all the wrath he could muster. God's creation lures the venom of his jealously and his arrogance. Man has fallen to the temptation to please and profit himself by raping God's creation. The resources of this earth have nearly been exhausted as man has mined precious minerals, drilled out the oil, and cut down forests to benefit his progress and development.
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made so that men are without any excuse.
(Man is blinded to the fact that "God spoke" and the whole of creation "was so"---man takes God's creation for granted and abuses it for his own benefit and enjoyment)
Not only has man abused God's creation to his own benefit, he has denied God as the creator. The theory of Evolution claims that an accidental collision sparked off the first development of life and that everything basically evolved from there. The belief that God is the Creator of the universe is the foundation of man's relationship with God. If God is not the creator, then there is no God. God saw the remembrance and recognition of Him as Creator as such an important part of man's life, that He created a holy day that was especially dedicated to remembering Him as Creator. There is a great spiritual significance in recognizing God as the Creator. If man believes that God is the Creator, then He will believe that God has the power to work in and through every aspect of his life. He then has the perfect platform to build a solid relationship of faith with God. This platform is reinforced by the evidences of all the wonders of nature on the earth and the countless starts in the sky. Satan wants to destroy this platform and leave man with unstable and fluctuating beliefs.
The part of God's creation that Satan has attacked most viciously is man, the jewel of God's creation. God created man in His own image, and what more could lure the attacks of an embittered rival who lost the battle he initiated to be exalted above God. He was banished to the very domain with the creatures he couldn't create. The treasure of God's creation, with man as the crowning masterpiece, now faced the most hostile attack possible. Man was deceived by lies from the time of Eden and has suffered the sting of death, disease and despair ever since. Satan is present in each individual's life to keep them from the peace and happiness that God ordained for them through the sacred treasure of His creation. Satan afflicts an individual's health through ignorance with regard to a natural diet, through lack of exercise, through over work and stress, and through destructive habits. Satan isolates people from God so that they are "stressed to the max" in trying to work out the problems facing them.
(Satan has man trapped in a prisons of addiction to chemicals in order to cope with the stress and hardships of life---his aim is to kill and destroy everyone)
People resort to chemicals to relieve this stress and
become addicted to drugs, tobacco and alcohol--all stepping stones to the
tomb of terror that he plans for every person. Satan, through his cowardly
schemes, attacks children through the heinous lusts of the adults around
them, placing them at a disadvantage for their futures. He overwhelms them
with ghosts of hurt and heartache from their pasts and keep them in prisons
of emotional bondage for their entire life. So fierce is the attack on
the jewel of God's creation that many commit suicide or lose their ability
to cope and go insane. Total annihilation is the war plan of this demonic
militant. As you look around at the individuals in the workplace, in schools,
at church and even in the family, we can see that man is dwarfed, he is
burdened and enslaved. He is assailed by a force that is trying to destroy
the potential of being in the image of God. We are pushed down, we are
depressed, we despair, and we are without hope for the future because we
don't see the Creator and His Magnificent works--we see everything at face
value.
Attack on The Second Treasure--The Oneness Between Man and Woman
Romans 1:24, 26, 27The second holy treasure that Satan has under siege in most of the six billion temples, is the awesome oneness between a man and a woman. This marvelous mystery that lies at the dawn of our civilization, giving this planet it's inhabitants. (See the graphic) Man is endowed with the ability to create a new replica of himself, and this awesome treasure has fallen under the most violent assault. This holy treasure stands in tandem with God's majestic creation. A magnificent miracle occurs when man and woman come together in an embrace of love and become one flesh. A new life is sparked inside the woman and she gives birth to a new person that resembles them both. God created man and woman incomplete--two halves, if you please--and brought completeness when they bonded in a lifelong relationship together. What a gift, what a blessing and what a holy treasure.
Therefore God gave them over in their sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their woman exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with woman and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
(The Second Holy Treasure is the Awesome Oneness between a man and a woman---the new life that is created when they become one Satan seeks to destroy through divorce, through abuse and through family violence and conflict)
Yet again, what God created and ordained forms a stench in the nostrils of a resentful rebel that could not find a way to fulfill his selfish ambitions. From the fall of man, Satan has worked at bringing division, defilement and divorce into the "one flesh" relationship between man and woman. What God created as a gift for man is just too beautiful, too perfect and too awesome. The archenemy of God and His created beings had to manipulate the truth, distort man's affections, and infest his understanding with corruption.
What God created to be a single simple union between and man and a woman, Satan has penetrated and perverted into multiple abominations--sordid and perverse. It is hard to fathom what has actually stemmed from this pure and holy treasure. The ocean of defilement and desecration so floods this world that it will never be the same again. It is forever changed. From the simple and beautiful oneness between a man and a woman, Satan has invented the following: (see the graphic attached):
prostitution, adultery, homosexuality, fornication and free sex, orgies, masturbation, bestiality, perverted sex--bondage, sadomasochism, child abuse and incest, pornography, stripping and voyeurism, etc. All the work of the master deceiver to achieve the desolation of the crowning of God's creation. Truly an abomination that causes desolation.God's design of intricately bonding a man and a woman together with a bond that binds a person closer together than with their parents, Satan labors at severing. God created man and woman as two halves of incompleteness, designed to be bound together, becoming "one flesh," and then only being complete. When these two halves are bonded together in this manner, it binds a person with deep rooted emotional, mental and spiritual bonds. From the time a man looks at a woman with affection and desire, a spider-like thread begins to bond them--an unseen thread with more strength than any human can conceive. Every touch, every kiss, every embrace adds another silver thread that is stronger than steel. Men and woman who are courting rush ahead with looks and embraces that bind them together without careful thought of compatibility, adequate communication, or of being equally yoked. Thread by thread the bonds thicken and strengthen, but too often they do not last. Married individuals, unaware of how bonds can form outside their marriages by just a look or an innocent touch, start forming these bonds. The bond within the marriage start to weaken and breakdown. When these bonds are finally broken by the evil infidel, an individual suffers desolation, despair and darkness. The pain of broken bonds is beyond that known to man--the delight of Satan's efforts. The deep scars left in the lives of people that have suffered these wounds, hardly fade. Only by God's grace do they diminish over time.
(Satan is out to destroy the delicate, intimate bonds between a man and a woman---he will not stop or weaken his efforts. Only couples that have God's protection will survive his attacks)
Men and woman need to be alert to the attack that Satan
brings to their associations--the defilement and desecration he brings
like those evil infidels coming onto our homeland. Single and married people
need to recognize that the chief terrorist is lurking to attack at every
opportunity. Satan will implant thoughts that your marriage is no longer
special or exciting. He will get people to take each other for granted
and forget what a beautiful gift they actually have in each other. Every
look, every touch and every thought is to be laced with holy purity, remembering
that this holy treasure is under the most vicious and constant attack.
I am amazed how many Christian men flirt with the passing images that Satan
flashes before their eyes. There is no shortage of tight teenage bodies
on the magazine stands, in the TV ads, around the malls and on the beaches.
These innocent second looks lead to lusting in secret and will spill over
into more progressive addictions leading to sex and pornography. Like a
lethal virus, these small traces of defilement journey throughout this
holy treasure, bringing an insidious infection that will eventually end
in desolation. Sex is a powerful force that has no boundaries. It will
ensnare all those who don't view the simple oneness between man and woman
as a holy and sacred treasure.
Attack on The Third Treasure--The Oneness Between God and Man
Romans 1:25, 28
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is for ever praised. Furthermore, since they did not think it worth while to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
The third holy treasure that God has lavished on every
one of the six billion temples that He created, is the awesome oneness
between the Creator and each of His creatures. Which
of the holy treasures are the most important? They are all so closely related
that they are actually one--each one inseparable from the other. (See graphic)
The third holy treasure is the reason God created man--to have communion
with Him, face to face in the garden of Eden. God, the Supreme Monarch
of the universe created man in His own image to participate in oneness
with Himself--a mystery that throughout eternity will be our subject of
study. In human terms this relationship between God and man can be compared
to that of a father and a child. A relationship of daily dependence of
the child on his or her father. The father loves the child above all else
and is thrilled to provide and care for his child. Our parents in Eden
experienced this daily walk with God and held face to face communication
with Him. What a wonderful honor and privilege that must have been? For
a created being to walk and talk with His creator--a being far superior
to him, but infinitely humble, selfless and generous. Man was one with
God and communed in perfect harmony with Him. His mind gradually aspiring
to the All-Wise, Ever-Present God that could create with just a thought.
(How many people do you know who make their time alone in the beginning of each day, their first priority?)
This holy treasure came under attack from the time the woman met the serpent. "You shall not surely die . . ." was the lie that immediately undermined the blissful relationship that God had with his newly created children. From that day, Satan has worked to distract man with satisfying himself instead of seeking to commune daily with his God. Man was lured into living a life of pleasure, prosperity and power, neglecting the very One that gave him everything he needed to live. A look back in the history of Israel will show how Israel's holy treasures were defiled as they adopted the demonic practices and the idolatry of the nations that surrounded them. The pages of the history books are repeated today where man is consumed by building an empire around himself, and bringing God into a small corner of this empire. "So many things to do, so many places to go, and so many people to see . . ." has become man's anthem, leaving the oneness with God to be found at weekly church gatherings and possibly a prayer meeting.
Every morning God calls His six billion little temples into communion with Himself, to start the new day in a face to face time together. The instruction God gives us is too complex for us to follow a week, a month, or a year at a time. He can only give us our instructions a day at a time. How many men and woman today take time in the cool hours of the morning to commune with God through the study of His word and through an unrushed season of prayer? These people are hard to find. The sophisticated lifestyles today are so packed with activity and entertainment that God is practically "scheduled" for a few minutes a day, or once or twice a week. God's heart aches for those of His children who will put Him first in their day and come apart to commune with Him and be one with Him. "Abide in me," Jesus says, "and I will abide in you." Abiding means remaining in Christ on a daily basis. It means a constant connection between God and man--the type of connection that God created man to have with Him in the beginning.
(Satan will use a trillion innocent pasttimes and activities to keep people away from that quiet, intimate, time alone with God---studies, friends, church work, etc.)
Satan loathes this oneness between God and man. He has come onto our home ground, stepped into the Most Holy Place of our temples and defiled this holy and special treasure. He knows too well that if man commits himself to spending this time alone with God, that his power over man is neutralized. He knows that when man spends time alone with God, God works in man to make man more like Him. Satan tricks man into believing that he needs to work at good deeds to please God--that he must first change and become a good person before he will be accepted by God. Satan attacks this holy treasure by spreading more lies about God and so keeps man in a formal, spiritless religion that has absolutely no power. The church becomes like a club and the members attend in order to feel good about their morality and ease their consciences. Satan doesn't mind church attendance or participation in church activities. He just cannot stand people meeting alone with God on a daily basis. He keeps people up late at night, watching TV or working on deadlines for the next day, he consumes people with worry and responsibility, he enslaves them in debt and weighs them down with financial burdens, he occupies their time with pastimes, sport and hobbies, he draws them into relationships and romances that demand time and energy. Yes, Satan will even use "witnessing" and church work to keep people away from being alone with God in daily communion. His attacks are ruthless, persistent and constant.(See graphic)
The Urgency of the US Threat Echoed into Our Daily
Lives
September 11, 2001 caught the whole world off guard.
No-one was prepared to the magnitude of those attacks. Millions of Christians
around the world have sat up and taken stock of their lives and of the
seriousness of the times. An end time awareness has been renewed in Christian
hearts everywhere. Prayers of rededication are being offered up to God,
pleas are being made to God for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and
appeals are being made to God to prepare people for the end time sealing.
The question is asked, "Can God rededicate, pour out His Spirit, and do
preparation for the sealing in temples that have defiled holy treasures
in them? America is on full alert because of the attack on their national
treasures, but are you and I on full alert because of the attack on the
three holy treasures in our temples? Can God bring a holy anointing on
my temple today while a casually flirt with the very agents and instruments
that defile my holy treasures? No! I need to fall in reverent awe before
God's throne and ask God to show me how to stand alert and ready to keep
my three treasures secure from the attacks of "O'Satan bin Lucifer," the
evil infidel who wants to defile them. I cannot make my treasures holy,
and nor can you, but as America has taken drastic steps to prevent a repeat
of those devastating attacks from ever occurring again, so I need to take
whatever steps are necessary to bring God into by defenses against Satan.
America will never be the same again since September 11. Never.
(America is on full alert to guard against a repeat of September 11, 2001---are we taking the attacks on our holy treasures seriously, or are we going to sit back and let Satan destroy us?)
America is like Israel now. A target of terrorism. So with us. We should never be the same again as we discover how Satan has attacked and defiled the holy treasures in the temples of our lives. As America has put new systems in place, created new positions in the White House for homeland security, and changed many of the ways the nation has lived in the past, so we must readjust our lives to accommodate the constant threat on us.
Three Angels Fly Out With a Global Warning
How serious should you and I take this attack by Satan
on God's three holy treasures--the treasures that form the foundation of
our existence? My friend, it is a matter of life and death. The matter
is so serious that in His Revelation to the Apostle John, God sent out
three Angels to proclaim a warning to save the global community from ultimate
desolation and destruction. Note the italics in the passages below:
Revelation 14:6-10
First Warning of Attack on the First Holy Treasure - Then I saw another angel flying in mid-air, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth--to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water." Here is an unmistakable parallel with Romans 1:20--a call to worship the Creator and be aware of His Powerful Word that creates and controls the universe.Second Warning of Attack on the Second Holy Treasure - A second angel followed and said, "Fallen! Fallen in Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries." The second Angels warning parallels with Romans 1:24, 26, 27. A call to forsake and be separate from the maddening adulteries that Satan has lured the people of this fallen planet into.
Third Warning of Attack on the Third Holy Treasure - A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath." The mark of the beast is the final rejection of the intimate relationship that God wants to have with each of His creatures. It is the final confirmation that an individual has cemented their alliance in a relationship with Satan--the beast.

An Awareness of the Holy
Treasures Brings Protection
After this startling reawakening,
what do I have to do to adequately protect my treasures from this persistent
invasion? The three treasures actually provide the answers themselves for
bringing cleansing and renewal. You and I just need the wake up call to
realize that they are under attack and need to be protected. We need to
be aware of what the three holy treasures are, and to study the role of
each of them in our lives. If these treasures are constantly in the forefront
of our thinking and our prayers, God will make them holy and build a protection
around each one, building and expanding them to their full potential. These
three treasures have a wonderful interrelationship with each other, with
each affecting and strengthening the other. (Note the graphic). The
Holy Spirit works through these treasures to ignite the holiness of God
into our lives and bring us back to the purpose for which He created us.
In our daily striving and endeavors, we need to plead that God will stand
guard in our temples and protect these treasures. This He will do. On full
alert, we must pray for a moment by moment consciousness of our treasures
being under attack. Every thought, and every new circumstance we approach
is to be laced with a Divine Protection against Satan's attack.
(Just as the American Marines and Special Forces are on full alert to protect our nation, so we need to be on full alert to prevent our Holy Treasures from being destroyed)
Note the practical steps I can take to guard my holy treasures:
Treasure 1 - Use the holy day that God has set aside for me to refresh and refocus my consciousness of Him at the Creator. This day God set aside in Genesis 2 for man to be able to rest from his work and refocus his mind onto the mind bending mysteries that are found in God's creation--the very mysteries that would bring us to His feet in humble recognition of His Power and Majesty. Laying aside all my regular activities and making a disciplined effort to learn more of the universe and the natural environment in which I live. Get videos, information from encyclopedias, and inspiration from trips into nature that will turn my attention to a God that created everything around me for my survival and my enjoyment. Then, to protect the attack on the crowning of God's creation, I need to develop an awareness of how to make the most of my health and implement the best choices I can in my diet and my overall lifestyle. I need to reassess my role with those of God's creatures around me and how I relate to them--am I helping them or hindering them while suffering under Satan's attacks?
Treasure 2 - Look at my marriage or romantic relationship as holy. Pray that God will give me the wisdom and discipline to avoid all images and thoughts that could undermine this holy relationship. Focus on keeping a deep spiritual bond with my partner and pray with my partner and family at every opportunity. When there is light shining from the heart of a relationship, the darkness cannot enter. Take time to refresh and revitalize my "first love" with my partner. Budget "quality time" together to communicate and nurture the relationship. Constantly sacrifice my selfish desires and focus on serving rather that being served.
Treasure 3 - Budget my time in such a way that God gets the first hour or two in my day for personal worship, study of the word and prayer. When I make communion alone with God the first priority in my life, I fortify the protection of my other two treasures and commission God to be the one who protects me and keeps me safe from Satan's attacks. A true miracle happens when I do this. As difficult as it might seem to make this part of my lifestyle, God will bless the time spent and make the rest of my life more meaningful and productive.
